Gaston Fire & Rescue exists to protect the people and places we call home. As all-volunteer members of this community, we respond to fires, accidents, and emergencies — because when our neighbors need help, showing up is what we do.

Structure fires, vehicle fires, brush fires, and mutual aid response in Gaston and nearby Northampton County communities.

Crash response, stabilization, and vehicle extrication for serious wrecks and entrapments.

Water rescue response for Lake Gaston, the Roanoke River, local creeks, and flooded roadways nearby.

Rope rescue support for steep embankments, elevated areas, and hard-to-reach rescue scenes.

Public safety diving support for water-related search, rescue, recovery, and submerged-vehicle incidents.

As an all-volunteer department, we depend on community support to stay equipped and ready. Your donation goes directly toward training, apparatus, and life-saving equipment.
